Introducing Connection Definition Point

Connection Definition Point: Connection is a line between two connectors used to transmit information, electrical energy, liquid or air (pressure) from the source to the target. Because connections can last on multiple pages, they are not updated online in Eplan, but are created offline. The following editing options are available: The components are automatically connected if their connection points are accurate (automatically connected). When inserting and moving the symbols, preview of the automatic connection lines are displayed. The connection joints can be represented in the form of a simple point or with target specifications. In the following case, the connection chain can be seen directly and determined by the internal logic of the connection symbol. There are many types of connections that can be displayed and distinguished, such as hydraulic, compressed air, electricity, cables, tubes, pipes, wires, internal safety, etc.

You can indicate default to electrical or liquid connectivity properties on the basis of the whole project. Using connection points, information can be assigned to each connection, for example: specify the connection point, cross -section / diameter, connected / digital color, connection indicator, etc. This connection data can be reported and output in forms. Cable definition lines are used to represent complete cable (for example, bus cable) or multiple wires of two -sided wires connecting two items.

You can determine the order of the targets in the network. To do this, all connections are linked directly to each other in the dialog box and can be assigned from there. Connectivity can be automatically indicated. You can then specify the criteria that will be used and the connections are made in this indication. Connection color can be saved as a multi -language text.

You can specify which color name is assigned to the color code and have an automatic color name.

For example, how to do Connection Definition Point

In my opinion, each company has a unique design drawing standard and how to number the drawings depends on each drawing, each company. Here is an example that I see a lot of companies applying. It may look long and feel difficult, but it makes the cure also become faster and more convenient.

This is the type of fighting between the first point and the end point of the two devices. Taken from the device and then the device’s point. You can see the image below
